An Enhanced OPEN MINDS Seminar On Non-Profit Management Announced For The 2021 OPEN MINDS Executive Leadership Retreat

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (June 20, 2021) – OPEN MINDS’ executive seminar, Aligning Your Board To The New Sustainability Challenge: An OPEN MINDS Seminar On Non-Profit Management will take place in person at The 2021 OPEN MINDS Executive Leadership Retreat. This seminar will focus on developing the skills to support modern healthcare in a value-based environment, developing the ability to preserve purpose and know when to redefine it, and perfecting the ability to monitor finance, business, compliance, and ethics.

As the healthcare industry addresses the aftermath of the COVID-19 disruption, board members and executives must collaborate on understanding the changing market and map a plan for recovery and sustainability. You must conduct a deep dive into the new challenges and opportunities for non-profit health and human service organizations and the changing role of the board in a time of competition and new business models.

OPEN MINDS’ senior associate, Raymond “Ray” Wolfe, J.D., along with executive vice president, Kim Bond, MS, LMFT will present this seminar live from 1:00pm – 4:30pm on Monday, September 20, 2021. Attendees will learn how to update their board on the impacted landscape and the need for updated strategies for sustainability, and understand the conditions for the new “best practice board.”

“You’ve worked hard to change and evolve your organization and your staff. What about your Board? Have you helped them change and evolve? This seminar will help you do just that.” says Ms. Bond. “In this critical time for our field, agencies are changing and evolving to meet the ‘next normal.’ Often, executives forget to help their board of directors evolve, too. This seminar is designed to help you understand some of the things your board needs to know now to best serve your agency.”
