Going From Red To Black: What To Do When Your Organization Is Operating On A Financial Deficit – Free New Program From The OPEN MINDS ‘Management Monday’ Series

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (September 18, 2017) — OPEN MINDS has announced a new coffee break case study program, “Going From Red To Black: What To Do When Your Organization Is Operating On A Financial Deficit,” featuring Senior Associate, George Braunstein, RN, FACHE. The free webinar will take place as part of OPEN MINDS Management Monday series on Monday, September 25, at 1:00 pm ET.

Mr. Braunstein brings more than 35 years of experience in leading both private and public sector health and human services organizations – in both institutional and ambulatory settings. Before joining OPEN MINDS, he was an Executive Director of the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board in Fairfax, Virginia. His areas of expertise include strategic planning and organizational development, clinical process performance management and improvement, integrated care system design, and financial management.

In this webinar, Mr. Braunstein will be addressing a topic that inflicts many, if not all, CEOs and CFOs across the nation, at one point or another. He will discuss the strategies and tactics needed to address an annual budget that begins in the “red”. The presentation will describe the challenges of starting a fiscal year in a deficit and identify the options generally available to address the deficit and identify key principles that can be used to determine the best options leadership can make when reviewing their yearly budget.

Management Monday Coffee Break Case Studies are part of a webinar series that feature OPEN MINDS’ consultants, subject matter experts, and advisory board members who demonstrate first-hand how they have tackled some of today’s most difficult management and market challenges. These brief, 20-30 minute webinars take place every other Monday at 1:00 pm ET/12:00 pm CT throughout 2017 and feature various clinical and business case-studies across the health and human service industry.
