Gettysburg, Pa. (February 5, 2023)—Thursday, February 23 at 1:00 PM ET, executives from Oaks Integrated Care will present on the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) care and reimbursement model. The one-hour session, “Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics — The Oaks Integrated Care Case Study”, will explain how the new model incentivizes quality care to improve outcomes by addressing whole person health.

“This model is growing rapidly, and specialty provider organizations need to consider this as a strategy for sustainability,” said Monica E. Oss, Chief Executive Officer for OPEN MINDS. “Fueled by many factors, including the pandemic and an increasing demand for mental health services, total federal investment in CCBHCs from 2018 to 2022 now tops $1.8 billion. There are already 350 specialty provider organizations managing CCBHCs. There is value in this model.”

With a shift to whole person care, the CCBHC model provides an opportunity to develop new reimbursement agreements. Attendees of this roundtable will hear from Michael D’Amico, MSW, LCSW, Vice President, and Kacey Batushansky, MA, LPC, CCS, Assistant Vice President, with Oaks Integrated Care on the unique aspects of the CCBHC model and how providers are reimbursed. The presentation will highlight the opportunities presented in developing creative and flexible service delivery with full cost coverage. Executive attendees will gain knowledge of the prospective payment system that allows for derived Medicaid bundled rates, how the model serves as a sustainability strategy, and the future of CCBHCs.

The roundtable is open to all OPEN MINDS Circle members. To register, visit https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/5323894004682313822.
