ODH, Inc. & OPEN MINDS Executives Team Up To Host By-Invitation Luncheon On Leveraging Technology For Better Interoperability

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (November 5, 2017) — OPEN MINDS announced ODH, Inc. (ODH) will be sponsoring a by-invitation luncheon at the upcoming 2017 OPEN MINDS Technology and Informatics Institute, addressing how effectively and efficiently exchanging information is a key competency for the future success of health and human service organizations.

Leveraging Technology For Better Interoperability: Harnessing The Power of FHIR & Blockchain” will take place on Tuesday, November 7th, and will feature a facilitated group discussion and insights from OPEN MINDS Chief Executive Officer, Monica E. Oss, as well as ODH executives, Michael Jarjour, Chief Executive Officer, and Adam Johnson, Executive Technology and Product Development. In this luncheon briefing, the two organizations will look at how two developments – the evolution of Fast Health Interoperability Resources (FHIR) and of the blockchain- will play a role in defining effective health information exchange in the future. The session will provide some context of how FHIR and blockchain are currently being used – and give examples of future roles in health information exchange (HIE). The anticipated 100 participating executives will have the opportunity to engage in a discussion session with industry expert panelists on the state-of-the-art in HIE, the shifting market environment, and the practical approaches to working with these new technologies.

The 2017 OPEN MINDS Technology and Informatics Institute is focused on the technology tools and strategies organizations need to maximize performance in a competitive, value-based market. This year, we’re exploring all the tech tools and competencies successful executives must master in order to build successful and sustainable organizations. For two days, 600+ executives and 30+ innovative technology organizations will gather in Philadelphia, PA, to discuss the emerging technology tools executives need to improve outcomes, streamline decisionmaking, and add value to the management and delivery of care for consumers with complex needs.
