OPEN MINDS Announces 2026 Performance Management Institute In Clearwater Beach, Florida This February

Gettysburg, Pa. (November 12, 2025) —The 2026 OPEN MINDS Performance Management Institute has confirmed the dates and location: February 10–12, 2026 in sunny Clearwater Beach, Florida.

As the only executive forum focused on translating performance data, leadership strategies, and innovation into sustainable organizational growth, the 2026 Institute will unite leaders from across the health and human services sector to explore one central question: how can organizations serving complex consumers turn insight from data into impact and performance optimization?

“The organizations that will define the next decade are those that can see beyond the numbers to the strategy and opportunities hidden in the patterns,” said OPEN MINDS Chief Executive Officer Monica E. Oss. “At this year’s Institute, we’re helping leaders bridge the gap between data and decision—building organizations that can grow sustainably in an increasingly value-driven market.”

The theme—Leading Data & Performance Transformation For Organizational Sustainability—sets the foundation for sessions that will focus on aligning teams around data, empowering faster, smarter decisions, optimizing workforce efficiency, and driving growth without compromising sustainability.

The institute will kick off with two in-depth executive seminars. In the first, “Building A Data-Driven Organization: The 2026 OPEN MINDS Seminar On Making Metrics-Based Management Work,” Michael Allen, Executive Vice President at OPEN MINDSwill outline the key performance domains, frameworks, and decision-making models executives need to build and manage a data-driven improvements to clinical and administrative performance.

In the second seminar, “Measuring & Managing Financial Strength: The 2026 OPEN MINDS Seminar On A Framework For Improving Financial Resilience,”  attendees will learn how to assess organizational financial strength, build strategies for managing risk, and apply best practices for improving liquidity, revenue diversification, and cost efficiency. Ray Wolfe, J.D., Senior Associate at OPEN MINDS, will deliver this three-hour seminar and expertly facilitate interactive exercises and case examples that drive the lessons home.

The keynote sessions will focus on mergers and acquisitions and a new approach to providing safety net services. In the first keynote, David C. Guth, Jr., CEO of Centerstone, and CJ Davis, Former CEO of Brightli and CEO-Elect of Centerstone, will share their vision, lessons learned, and the strategic priorities guiding the groundbreaking and transformational merger of their companies, two of the nation’s leading nonprofit behavioral health organizations. The session is titled, “Uniting For Impact: How Centerstone & Brightli’s Strategic Growth & Vision Are Shaping The Future Of Behavioral Health”

The second keynote session will highlight Colorado’s bold approach of providing a full spectrum of behavioral health services through one system. In “No Wrong Door: Applying Managed Care Principles To Safety Net Services In Colorado And Beyond,” Daniel Darting, CEO of Signal Behavioral Health Network, will share how Colorado’s new Behavioral Health Administrative Service Organizations are redefining what it means to create a “no wrong door” system of care by integrating and optimizing state funding streams, standardizing provider expectations and care, and ensuring that every Coloradan can find help regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.

A highlight of the institute, The 2026 OPEN MINDS Whole Person Care Summit, sponsored by Alera Health, is an all-day opportunity to hear from behavioral health leaders with proven models for scaling integrated care. Attendees will learn what works and what to avoid when integrating teams, contracting with payers, and delivering value across primary, social, and behavioral services.

The inaugural 2026 OPEN MINDS Workforce & AI Summitsponsored by Netsmart, will feature four sessions helping executives address the top challenges: recruitment and retention to burnout and rising demand for services. Through case studies and real-world examples on how to leverage AI attendees will acquire the edge they need to become an employer of choice in behavioral health.

Executives, financial leaders, and performance innovators are encouraged to attend with their teams to explore the systems, tools, and strategies that make sustainable growth achievable.
