OPEN MINDS Announces 2026 Whole Person Care Summit To Spotlight Real-World Integrated Care Models

Gettysburg, PA (December 14, 2025) — Whole person care has rapidly evolved from an aspirational concept to an operational expectation across health and human services, especially those organizations serving individuals with complex needs. As payers and policymakers press for more integrated models that address physical, behavioral, and social drivers of health, executive teams are redesigning programs and forming new partnerships to close long-standing gaps in care. The challenge ahead: building models that improve outcomes, strengthen continuity, and deliver meaningful person-centered care at scale.

To equip leaders with practical direction, The 2026 OPEN MINDS Whole Person Care Summit, sponsored by Alera Health, will provide a full day of field-tested strategies for designing, implementing, and scaling integrated care models. The Summit will be held February 11, 2026, during The 2026 OPEN MINDS Performance Management Institute, in Clearwater Beach, Florida. This annual event is widely recognized as the nation’s leading management conference for health and human services providers.

The summit will feature the flagship Lunch & Learn along with four additional case-study and best-practice sessions:

The Lunch & Learn session, What To Expect From Your CIN & How a ONEcare Network Supports Agencies & Communities, led by Deb Aldridge, Chief Network Officer at Alera Health, will give attendees an inside view of how Clinically Integrated Networks (CINs) function, what collaboration looks like in practice, and how agencies can leverage shared governance, accountability structures, incentive contracting, and coordinated community supports.

Featured organizations throughout the day include The Harris Center, Endeavor Health Services, Illinois Health Practice Alliance, Omnes IPA, and Chestnut Health Systems. Leaders will share insights and lessons-learned regarding integrating teams and cross-sector collaboration, navigating EHR interoperability and workforce challenges, developing responsive, data-driven feedback systems, and strategies for financing whole person care models.

“Whole person care isn’t just a new initiative—it’s a path to the future,” said Monica E. Oss, Chief Executive Officer at OPEN MINDS. “This summit gives leaders real-world strategies and operational insights to build coordinated, person-centered systems that improve outcomes and strengthen organizational performance.”

Attendees of this summit who are OPEN MINDS Circle Members are eligible to receive credits towards the Leadership & Management Certificate Program.
