Alice Kim, Chief Operating Officer, Cohen Veterans Network
Alice Kim oversees the strategic operations and administration of the organization’s programs and initiatives. As one of the founding leaders of Cohen Veterans Network (CVN), Alice has been integral in building and developing the network from concept to fruition. Prior to joining CVN, Alice was the Director of Operations at the Center for Innovation and Research on Veterans & Military Families (CIR) at the University of Southern California School of Social Work. While there, she oversaw the daily operations of CIR and managed several large research projects funded by the Department of Defense to enhance the competence and capacity of civilian behavioral health care providers working with military populations. Throughout her career, Alice has worked for numerous major research initiatives focused on behavioral health care, community development, social welfare, and education. Alice received her BA from the University of Chicago and her MA from the University of Chicago, School of Social Service Administration.
Sheetal Sood Chief Information Officer, Cohen Veterans Network
Sheetal Sood is an information governance and technology innovation leader with close to 30 years of industry experience including technology management, cyber security, information governance and risk management. As Chief Information Officer for Cohen Veterans Network (CVN), Sheetal is responsible for the strategy, implementation and optimization of CVN’s information systems including business systems, clinical information systems including the Electronic Health Record and data analytics and sciences. She also serves as CVN’s Chief Information Security Officer. Sheetal has a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering and holds various certifications including CHC, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CIPP/US, GSEC.
