OPEN MINDS Highlights Two Executive Seminars On Performance Measurement & Revenue Diversification At The 2027 Performance Management Institute
Gettysburg, PA. (November 14, 2026) — As health and human service organizations prepare for 2027, executive teams face two critical management decisions: which performance measures provide the information needed to guide strategy, and which new revenue opportunities can strengthen financial sustainability. The 2027 OPEN MINDS Performance Management Institute will address both challenges through two executive seminars focused on building effective performance scorecards and evaluating revenue sources beyond traditional health plans.
The concurrent, half-day seminars will take place February 16, 2027, at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater Beach, Florida, and are included with Institute registration.
Michael Allen, Executive Vice President at OPEN MINDS, will lead Building A Data-Driven Organization: The 2027 OPEN MINDS Seminar On Choosing What To Measure & What To Retire. Drawing on his experience developing and managing AspenPointe’s performance measurement system across seven Colorado counties and serving as Chief Executive Officer of SummitStone Health Partners, Mr. Allen will guide executives in developing a one-page scorecard of 12 to 15 key performance measures. The seminar will address how to identify reliable data sources, eliminate reports that no longer support decision-making, and communicate performance measurement priorities to governing boards.
Deanne Cornette, MHA, GPC, Senior Associate at OPEN MINDS, will lead Revenue Beyond Health Plans: The 2027 OPEN MINDS Seminar On Diversifying Revenue Sources. Ms. Cornette brings experience developing Hillsborough County’s centralized receiving facility, one of Florida’s first, and securing more than $80 million in grant funding. She will help executives evaluate county, court, and justice agency contracts against their organization’s unit costs, while assessing the potential of private-pay services and philanthropic funding as additional revenue sources.
“These seminars bring practical frameworks and real-world executive experience to two important decisions,” said Monica E. Oss, Chief Executive Officer of OPEN MINDS, “how to use performance data to guide management strategy, and how to evaluate new revenue opportunities that can support long-term organizational sustainability.”
