Two Workshops – On Strategy Development & Improving Access To Behavioral Health In Primary Care – Added To 2017 OPEN MINDS Technology & Informatics Institute Program

Gettysburg, Pa (October 22, 2017) — OPEN MINDS announced two pre-institute workshops will be offered at no charge on November 6, 2017 in conjunction with the 2017 OPEN MINDS Technology & Informatics Institute at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia. The new programs, sponsored and underwritten by Credible Behavioral Health Software and SilverCloud, will be led by the chief executive officers of each organization:

  • “Preparing For The Future In An Uncertain Market,” led by Matt Dorman, Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Credible Behavioral Health Software
  • “Improve Access & Reach To Behavioral Health Care In Primary Settings,” led by Ken Cahill, Chief Executive Officer, SilverCloud

The workshop, “Preparing For The Future In An Uncertain Market” is a briefing on trends and strategy development for health and human service executives. Attendees in the session will review the current market, how to navigate uncertainty, and a strategy checklist for positioning organizations in the uncertain political environment. The workshop will provide attendees with a best practice approach on defining markets and service offerings and assessing market risks and sources of market uncertainty. In addition, attendees will be introduced to a quantifiable data management instrument to assess and better prepare their organization for surviving, if not thriving, in uncertainty.

The workshop will be led by Matt Dorman, founder and chief executive officer of Credible Behavioral Health Software, who brings more than 25 years of experience in technology and operations management. Prior to founding and establishing Credible, Mr. Dorman managed a $40 million e-Commerce division for Lockheed Martin.

The workshop, “Improve Access & Reach To Behavioral Health Care In Primary Care Settings,” is focused on using telehealth platforms to facilitate behavioral health in primary care settings. The session will discuss protocols and pathways for integration – improving care access, scale care delivery, and integrate care across teams.

The workshop will be led by Kevin Cahill, co-founder and chief executive officer of SilverCloud Health. Mr. Cahill comes from an entrepreneurial background with experience in product and sales strategy and finance management. Prior to founding SilverCloud Health, Mr. Cahill worked with multinational organizations such as Gateway, HP, and Dell.
