These associates bring a wealth of experience and expertise in the health care field to help meet the demands of the organization’s rapidly growing client list.
Seasoned industry professionals with a wealth of leadership and management experience, these three new Senior Associates have impressive backgrounds in the areas of technology and information management:

Robert Cartia brings to OPEN MINDS over 30 years of experience in the health care field. His career has included experience in addictions, mental health, and primary care settings in both clinical and administrative positions. Before joining OPEN MINDS, Mr. Cartia was Chief Executive Officer of Spectrum Healthcare Group, a comprehensive behavioral health and primary care center in Arizona. In his role at Spectrum, he facilitated the organization’s transformation from a specialty behavioral health organization to an integrated health care organization with primary care and pediatric services. Mr. Cartia was responsible for the development of the organization’s short-term and long-term strategic goals, as well as Spectrum’s implementation of two behavioral health EMR applications and a primary care EMR.
With over 25 years of experience in executive leadership roles focused on technology and business development support in the health and human service industry, Tonya Harmon brings to OPEN MINDS’ clients a diverse background in tech strategy, development and implementation of new service lines, and marketing and business development planning and management. Prior to joining OPEN MINDS, Ms. Harmon was Chief Executive Officer of CareDirectorUSA, LLC, a Dublin, Ireland-based company, where she was responsible for expanding the organization into North America. She was also responsible for market and product analysis, capturing new state, local government and provider business, and building the product roadmap for the U.S. market. Ms. Harmon managed the company’s sales and implementation teams, and was responsible for sales to several key state accounts.
Amanda Harris brings fifteen years of successful software consulting and sales experience to the OPEN MINDS team. Ms. Harris helps OPEN MINDS clients understand software and/or product options and their impact on various types of healthcare settings. Ms. Harris previously worked as Manager of Sales at Askesis Development Group where she led the sales process and coordinated the participation of subject matter experts. She was also responsible for selling fully integrated practice management, Electronic Health Record (EHR), and electronic prescribing software to health and human services provider organizations.
