GETTYSBURG, Pa. (August 22, 2021) – On September 2 at 1:00 pm ET, OPEN MINDS will host the Private Roundtable For Elite Members, Social Determinants Of Health & The ‘Next Normal’—Partnerships, Collaborations & Leveraging Resources. This Private Roundtable will feature OPEN MINDS Senior Associate, Jason Lippman and Hackensack Meridian Health Carrier Clinic President, Donald J. Parker, who will discuss how to better position your organization to address the social determinants of health in your customer population.

“Addressing the social determinants of health that effect your customer population is only going to become more important,” said OPEN MINDS Chief Executive Officer Monica E. Oss. “As we continue to move towards value-based care, it will benefit organizations to get ahead of the curve and figure out how to address these social determinants. This is the time to think outside the box and consider resources and partnerships that may have previously been overlooked.”

The COVID-19 pandemic has shone a spotlight on all the social factors that affect an individual’s health. Essential to developing a comprehensive social determinants of health (SDOH) strategy is creating strategic partnerships and collaborations to leverage shared resources and impact. By better positioning your organization to be more influential at the program design and strategy table, more comprehensive care and services can be made available for consumers as we continue to move towards value-based care and plan for the ‘Next Normal.’

In this private round table, executive attendees will learn:

  • Overview of an SDOH strategy
  • How to develop strategic partnerships and collaborations
  • How to implement more comprehensive care that also address SDOH
