Technology That’s Driving Independence & Better Care: Trillium Sponsors OPEN MINDS 2025 Smart Home Expo
GETTYSBURG, PA. (September 28, 2025) — Trillium Health Resources is proud to sponsor the upcoming 2025 OPEN MINDS Smart Home Expo on October 22nd at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel. This one-of-a-kind event, hosted during the annual OPEN MINDS Technology & Analytics Institute, will highlight innovative tools designed to support independence, engagement, and wellness for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), behavioral health conditions, and other complex needs.
The Expo brings together leading technology partners to demonstrate how smart home solutions can address some of the field’s most pressing challenges: staffing shortages, safety risks, and the need for greater individual autonomy.
As part of the event, Trillium is showcasing the Trillium Ultimate Living Assistant (TULA) — a groundbreaking platform that combines remote support and monitoring with two-way communication delivered by a dedicated care team. TULA’s benefits go beyond daily task reminders and care team support, but also include the ability to make secure video calls and messaging with family and friends, interactive games, workouts, nutrition guidance, all in addition to FDA-approved monitoring for vitals and a series of motion sensors for safety alerts.
