GETTYSBURG, Pa. (August 22, 2021)—OPEN MINDS has announced that Todd Rudsenske, Partner, Webster Equity Partners, and Jeremy Gelber, M.D., Senior Managing Director, Centerbridge, will lead a plenary panel keynote at The OPEN MINDS Mergers, Acquisitions & Affiliations Summit:  Best Practices For Non-Profit Health & Human Organizations—A Centerstone & OPEN MINDS Collaboration, in-person on September 20, 2021, from 8:00 a.m.—4:30 p.m. ET in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

The last two years saw a record number of mergers, acquisitions, and affiliations among organizations serving the complex consumer market. The big questions: were those collaborations successful in improving competitive advantage? And what are the “tricks of the trade” in making collaboration work? Join us for an information-packed day with executives who are making it happen, and gain perspectives on how to best leverage collaborations for improving market position.

This summit’s agenda will include a state of the health care investment industry, including updates on mergers, acquisitions, and affiliations during and post-pandemic, an informative best practices panel discussion on how to you use mergers and acquisitions to gain strategic advantage, informative case studies, thought leader discussions, and interactive dialogue with attendees.

Mr. Rudsenske and Dr. Gelber’s plenary panel keynote, The Future of Private Equity Investments In The Health & Human Service Space, will begin at 9:15 a.m. ET.   They’ll be joined by Joseph Naughton-Travers, Ed.M., Senior Associate, OPEN MINDS as they discuss what private investment firms are focused on in the “next normal.”  Mr. Rudsenske joined Webster Equity Partners as a Partner in 2020 after a 25-year career as an investment banker to leading middle-market health care service organizations. At Webster, Mr. Rudsenske serves on the Boards of BayMark Health Services and Discovery Behavioral Health.  He is also active with InBloom Autism Services.  Dr. Gelber joined Centerbridge in 2018 and focuses on investments in the health care sector. Prior to joining Centerbridge, he was a Partner at Pamplona Capital, a private equity firm, leading the health care investing vertical. Prior to Pamplona Capital, Dr. Gelber was an Executive Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking Division at Morgan Stanley.  He completed his medical degree, summa cum laude, at Jefferson Medical College.
