AI Scribes May Reduce Documentation Time, Improve Physician Well-Being
Artificial intelligence (AI) scribes that automatically document visits may reduce the time physicians spend on paperwork and improve their work experience, according to a recent clinical trial. The trial involved 238 physicians at a large health system who used one of two commercially available AI scribe applications—Microsoft Dragon Ambient eXperience (DAX) Copilot or Nabla—or were assigned to a usual care group.
