Colorado Receives FDA Approval For Its Canadian Prescription Drug Importation Program
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has authorized Colorado's Section 804 Importation Program (SIP), allowing the state to import certain prescription medications from Canada. The authorization is valid for two years and is intended to help reduce prescription drug costs through lower insurance premiums and out-of-pocket expenses.
