Feds Fine Ohio Child Welfare $3.8 Million For Failure To Improve Performance Between 2008 & 2012
The federal Administration for Children and Families (ACF) has fined the Ohio child welfare system $3.8 million for failing to meet minimum performance standards on the Ohio’s Child and Family Services Review (CFSR). In 2008, Ohio failed to meet minimum performance standards for 10 of the 14 criteria, and failed to meet standards for two criteria in 2012.
