The Baton Rouge Area Foundation (BRAF) Launches Exceptional Lives Louisiana Website To Provide Free Resources To Children With Developmental Disabilities

The Baton Rouge Area Foundation (BRAF) has launched the Exceptional Lives Louisiana website to provide free resources to children with developmental disabilities. The website went live on August 9, 2017.

The website was created with feedback from interviewing 300 parents with special needs children. Parents expressed frustration with how to deal with a diagnosis of their child's condition; and the difficulties finding information, support, and providers for help. BRAF then worked with members from Exceptional Lives Massachusetts in Boston to create the Louisiana branch of the Exceptional Lives website.
