California Stakeholders Endorse Standardized Performance Measures For Commercial ACOs
California-based employers, health plans, and health care provider organizations have endorsed an initiative to standardize performance measures for in-state commercial accountable care organizations (ACOs). The goal is to implement a standard quality and cost performance measure set for commercial ACOs so that payers and provider organizations can monitor ACO performance. Data collection will occur in the spring of 2018 and include 18 clinical quality, hospital utilization, and cost measures for care provided in 2017.
