Oregon Medicaid Reports Improvements In Adolescent Well-Care & Screening For Youth In DHS Custody

During 2017, the 16 Oregon Medicaid coordinated care organization (CCOs) improved performance on three child-focused metrics: adolescent well-care visits, health assessments for children in custody of the Department of Human Services (DHS) custody, and developmental screening in the first three years of life. A CCO is a network of health care provider organizations that provide integrated Medicaid physical, behavioral, and oral health care services. The Oregon Health Authority monitors the quality of care provided by the CCOs.
