Half Of U.S. Population Thinks They Are Likely To Develop Dementia, But Few Take Action
Approximately 44% of those aged 50 to 62 are somewhat worried (38%) or very worried (6%) about developing dementia in their lifetime. However, just 5% of this population have discussed dementia prevention with their health care professionals. Overall, 48% of all respondents surveyed though they were somewhat likely (44%) or very likely (4%) to develop dementia in their lifetime.
