South Carolina Updating Qualified Provider Organization List For Community Beds For People At High Risk For Hospitalization

The South Carolina Department of Mental Health (SCDMH) is updating its qualified provider organization list of community residential care facilities (CRCFs) available for people with mental illness who are at high risk for hospitalization. The list was created in 2011, and resubmitted following expiration in 2018. The SCDMH intends to use the new list to recommend placements for specific individuals currently served by three of its community mental health centers.
