One-Third Of Parents In 3 States May Not Send Children To School Because Of COVID-19
Approximately 33% of surveyed parents in Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio may not send their children to school during the 2020 to 2021 school year due to the coronavirus disease of 2019 (COVID-19) risk at school. Approximately 12% of parents reported they likely will not send at least one of their children to school during the upcoming school year. About 21% of parents reported that they are unsure of their plans for 2020 to 2021 schooling.
