On December 9, 2020, Henry Ford Health System and Acadia Healthcare Company, Inc., announced that they formed a joint venture to create a 192-bed behavioral health hospital in Detroit, Michigan. They intend to open the new facility in late 2022. It will provide comprehensive inpatient treatment for adults, seniors, and adolescents, and will provide training for inpatient psychiatry residents, medical students, nurses, and other health care professionals.
