Veterans Health Administration Partners With TeachAids To Support TBI Recovery With ‘CrashCourse Concussion Story Wall’
The Veterans Health Administration’s (VHA) Center of Excellence in Palo Alto partnered with the nonprofit TeachAids to develop a project called the CrashCourse Concussion Story Wall to support recovery among veterans with traumatic brain injury (TBI). Through TeachAids, the VHA clinical professionals develop educational materials, such as the story wall to help tailor and specialize services for individual veterans. The goal is that the story wall will encourage veterans to share their experiences living with TBI and rehabilitation. The VHA believes that allowing people to share their experiences contributes to recovery.
