Michigan To Settle Lawsuit Over Child Mental Health Care
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is in the process of settling the K.B. v. Lyon lawsuit. The suit, filed in 2018, alleges that the state failed to provide adequate mental health treatment for children’s mental health issues—specifically applied behavioral analysis, community living supports, crisis stabilization, and other intensive home- and community-based services (HCBS).
