Arizona DCS Launches New Orientation Program For Prospective Foster Parents
On August 5, 2021, the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) launched a new orientation experience for prospective foster parents to boost lead conversion and support prospective foster parents in completing the foster licensure and adoption certification process. The program is conducted virtually with no time demand. The orientation is intended to give information to people inquiring about becoming a foster or adoptive parent to help them determine whether to pursue licensure and certification.
