On June 28, 2021, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) awarded six contracts valued at $59.5 million for mobile health services to improve access to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccinations for high-risk populations. Statewide contracts were awarded to Ambulnz Holdings, LLC, (d/b/a DocGo), Honu Management Group, Thompson Technologies, and Visit Healthcare. Regional contracts were awarded to ACCESS for Region 10 and to Recovery Mobile Clinic for Regions 9 and 10. The initial contract term runs for two years, followed by three one-year renewal options.
