On September 27, 2021, Amazon Web Services (AWS) launched a new global program to support organizations working to enhance health outcomes for underserved or underrepresented communities by providing organizations with AWS credits and technical expertise. Amazon is providing funding of $40 million over three years to help organizations develop solutions to improve health outcomes in three areas: increasing access to health services, addressing social determinants of health, and using data to promote more equitable systems of care. Applications for the 2021 cycle are due by November 15, 2021. There will be three application cycles in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
