On October 14, 2021, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf announced awards totaling more than $43.6 million in Low Income Housing Tax Credits, more than $7.4 million in PennHOMES funding, and more than $15.9 million in National Housing Trust Funds to fund affordable rental housing. The funding was awarded to 37 multifamily housing developments to create or preserve 1,974 affordable rental units in Pennsylvania. Of the 1,974 total rental units that received funding, 1,886 will be for low-income Pennsylvania residents, and 93 units will be for people at or below 30% of the area median . . .
