Ohio Child Welfare System Implements New ‘Bills Of Rights’ To Support Foster Youth & Their Resource Families
On November 15, 2021, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) released documents in the form of a “Bill of Rights” that establish the rights of foster youth and of resource family caregivers. The goal is to clarify the rights of both parties to ensure that a youth in the children services system is able to live as closely to normal as possible.
