Washington State DOC Contracts With Securus For Inmate Communications Services
On May 3, 2022, the Washington State Department of Corrections (DOC) announced it has contracted with Securus Technologies for a new system for inmate communications technology services. The new system includes providing tablets for inmates and a free outbound calls.
Under the terms of the agreement, the partnership with Securus will launch as a proof-of-concept in the coming months at the DOC’s two women’s facilities.
