New developments in neuroscience have the potential to change the lives of consumers with cognitive disorders – provided that professionals in the field have the patience to sort out the "good" science, from the "bad science." This was premise of a great article I read recently on doublexscience.org, Between Neurohype And Neuroskepticism, by Bethany Brookshire. The concern of Ms. Brookshire is the media coverage of new developments in neuroscience – first positive and now negative. She writes:
