Understood Care Raises $8.4 Million To Scale AI-Native Infrastructure Layer For Consumer Advocacy Nationwide
Understood Care, an artificial intelligence (AI)-native consumer advocacy platform, announced $8.4 million in funding. The company intends to use the funding to support development of Ava, Understood Care's AI co-pilot, and partnerships with provider organizations, payers, and community organizations focused on care navigation.
The funding includes a $5 million seed round led by Rethink Education and Zeal Capital Partners. Understood Care previously raised $3.4 million in pre-seed funding in a round led by 1984 Ventures, with participation from Y Combinator.
