I learned a lot about the Kaiser system and its approach to managing care during the session, The Kaiser Approach To Managing Behavioral Health Care led by Dr. Stuart Buttlaire, Regional Director of Behavioral Health and Addiction Medicine, for Kaiser Permanente, at The 2023 OPEN MINDS Performance Management Institute. But what struck me was that our current health care system is in a ‘back to the future’ time warp.
