I hadn’t thought a lot about performance measures specific to children in value-based arrangements until recently. A new report, Value-Based Payment To Support Children’s Health And Wellness: Shifting The Focus From Short-Term To Life Course Impact, points out some ways that reframing the measures of performance for children’s services value-based reimbursement can actually increase the return of these arrangements—in both the short term and the long term.
