988 & Beyond

On Sunday September 8 we will observe the first annual “988 Day” (see;America Is Suffering a Mental Health Crisis. 988 Is Here to;Help and 988 Day). Sponsored by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the goal is to raise awareness about the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and emphasize the importance of mental health and suicide prevention.
