On April 29, 2011, Attention Control Systems, Inc. (ACS) and AFrame Digital, Inc. announced that they were developing mobile assistive living support technology for soldiers with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and cognitive impairment. The projects are being developed for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) to test the addition of wireless biosensor monitoring technology to the Android-based ACS Planning and Execution Assistant and Trainer (PEAT)â„¢ handheld computer system. PEAT provides responsive, situation-linked activity cueing for individuals with memory, attention, and cognitive disorders.
