41% Of All COVID Deaths Are In Long-Term Care Facilities
In the United States, about 41% of all coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) deaths through September 20, 2020, were among long-term care (LTC) residents. About 30% of those deaths were among residents of assisted living communities and other care homes. The remaining 70% of LTC COVID-19 deaths took place among nursing home residents.
