Approximately 45% of emergency physicians in the United States are uncomfortable about seeking mental health care if they needed it. When it comes to seeking mental health treatment, 73% of emergency physicians feel there is stigma in their workplace. Approximately 57% report they would be concerned for their job if they were to seek mental health treatment.
