50% Of Health Care Organizations Have Adopted Generative AI Tools, McKinsey Survey Finds
Half of surveyed health care organizations reported implementing generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools by the end of 2025, reflecting continued growth in adoption across the sector, according to a new survey by McKinsey & Company.
Adoption has increased steadily over the past two years, rising from 25% in late 2023 to 47% in 2024 and reaching 50% in 2025. More than 82% of respondents reported that their organizations have deployed at least one generative AI use case to end users, while only 1% said they have no plans to pursue AI tools.
