50% Of U.S. Health Care Organizations Have Adopted Generative AI Tools To Increase Administrative Efficiency, Support Software Infrastructure, Clinical Productivity & Consumer Engagement
By the end of 2025, half of the surveyed health care organizations had implemented generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools, underscoring a rapid shift from early experimentation to mainstream adoption, according to a recent survey. Adoption has steadily increased over the last two years, rising from 25% in late 2023 to 47% in 2024 before reaching 50% in 2025.
Only 1% of the survey respondents reported their organizations have no plans to pursue AI agents. As of late 2025, more than 82% of respondents announced that their organizations have already deployed their first use cases to end users.
