63% Of Surveyed Hospitals & Health Systems Have Been Impacted By A Cybersecurity Incident
A total of 63% of surveyed hospitals and health systems in the U.S. have experienced a cybersecurity incident. In response to growing concerns, organizations have adopted a mix of cybersecurity measures to support safe and private consumer-centered communications, including email security (46%), incident response planning (41%), and security awareness training (40%).
A total of 50% of surveyed organizations use secure messaging systems, 45% use wearable devices, 43% use hospital paging systems, and 40% use electronic health record-based communications and messaging.
