On August 31, 2020, Aetna-CVS Health announced a new health plan offering, called Aetna Connected Plan with CVS Health, for employers in the Kansas City area. The plan combines CVS Health services with Aetna’s I-35 Preferred Network. The premiums are about 20% lower than comparable preferred provider organization products in the Kansas City market. The plan will begin on January 1, 2021.

Aetna Connected Plan with CVS Health plan is available in Clay, Jackson, and Platte Counties in Missouri; and in Johnson and Wynadotte Counties in Kansas. It is intended for employers with 101 or more employees . . .
