Heart Disease Death Rates Vary By State—Lowest In Minnesota
Age-adjusted heart disease death rates in 2019 ranged from 0.12% in Minnesota to 0.23% in Oklahoma. The national rate was 0.16%.
Between 2000 and 2019, the national age adjusted death rate decreased by 59.5%, from 257.6 deaths per 100,000 population in 2000 to 161.5 in 2019.
