Blue Shield & Human Affairs International Sued For Denying Employee Dependent Behavioral Health Claims
On May 26, 2016, a lawsuit was filed against California Physicians’ Service, dba, Blue Shield of California (Blue Shield) and Human Affairs International of California for denying behavioral health claims of employee dependents. The lawsuit, Charles Des Roches, et al. v. California Physicians’ Service, et al., was filed in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California. The lawsuit has moved from a complaint to a class-action lawsuit.
