On June 17, 2021, CareOregon, an Oregon Medicaid Coordinated Care Organization (CCO), announced plans to invest $7.5 million in approximately 25 behavioral health service provider organizations to help them recruit and retain mental health and addiction treatment clinical professionals. The investment is part of a larger multi-year effort to stabilize the system and improve the consumer experience.

CareOregon network provider organizations must submit proposals for funding through the CareOregon Emergency Behavioral Health Workforce Stabilization Fund.
