ChatGPT For Healthcare Integrated With Epic EHR
On September 1, 2026, OpenAI announced a new Epic electronic health record (EHR) integration that allows authorized clinicians to bring patient information from Epic into ChatGPT for Healthcare to review records. The integration is read-only, maintains existing Epic permissions, and is currently being piloted by UCSF Health.
