Correctional Medical Company YesCare Files For Bankruptcy
YesCare, which provides correctional medical services, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on May 8, 2026. The company faces liabilities stemming from the bankruptcy of a subsidiary. Court filings indicate that YesCare owes between $100 million and $500 million in liabilities and has between $50 million and $100 million in assets.
The company is the successor to Corizon Health, which split into two companies after being named in about 200 lawsuits alleging that it provided substandard medical care.
