$10.25 Billion Earmarked in COVID Relief Bill For ACF-Sponsored Early Childhood Programs & Child Care Provider Organizations
On December 27, 2020, President Trump signed a $2.3 trillion coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) relief bill plus the 2021 budget allocations that earmarked $10.25 billion for the U.S. Administration for Children and Families (ACF) to support early childhood programs and child care provider organizations. The bulk of the funding, $10 billion, is allocated to Child Care and Development Block Grants (CCDBGs) to provide immediate assistance to child care provider organizations.
