Deep Social Inequities Exist in Counties With High Alzheimer’s Disease Prevalence Among Blacks & Latinos
Counties with the highest prevalence of Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias (ADRD) among Blacks and Latinos are more likely to have worse social determinants of health compared to counties with the lowest prevalence of ADRD among these populations. These are the findings of a recent review of 2016 Medicare data by UsAgainstAlzheimer’s.
